Techxime publishes product reviews, comparisons and buying guides to help readers choose the right gadgets, apps, AI tools, vehicles and services. This Review Policy explains how we evaluate products and how we stay independent.

Our Review Principles

Honest: we report both strengths and weaknesses. No product is perfect, and we say so.
Independent: brands, advertisers and affiliate partners have no say in our verdicts or ratings.
Reader-focused: our goal is to help you decide whether a product is right for your needs and budget.
Transparent: we tell you how we tested and how we make money.

How We Review Products

Hands-on testing: where we have access to a product, we use it in real-life conditions, testing features such as performance, display, camera, battery life, build quality, software and value for money.
Research-based reviews and roundups: where hands-on testing is not possible, we clearly state that our review or buying guide is based on research, official specifications, expert reviews and verified user feedback.
Comparison: we compare products with competitors in the same price range so readers understand the real value.
Long-term updates: we update reviews when software updates, price changes or new competitors change our recommendation.

Ratings

When we give ratings, they are based on performance, features, design, ease of use and value for money compared with similar products at the time of the review. Ratings may be revised if the product or market changes significantly.

Review Units and Samples

Brands sometimes provide review units or free trials. When this happens:

We disclose it in the review.
The brand does not see or approve the review before publication.
Receiving a review unit does not guarantee coverage or a positive review.
Review units are returned, kept for long-term testing, or donated, according to the arrangement with the brand.

Paid Reviews and Sponsorships

We do not accept payment in exchange for reviews or positive coverage. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled “Sponsored” and is separate from our independent reviews.

Reviews and buying guides may contain affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our verdict. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
